We got the first of two boxes in today (from a Been there Clearinghouse donor) and it was like xmas for Ty and I. He had his first hot bath in almost three weeks tonight. He chowed two bottles of formula, one of water, and curled up in his new crib. There hasn’t been a peep since. THANK YOU!

I just mailed out to Shannon, who is hosting a mother and her two children in Arden NC, some 3-4T boys clothing, diapers, wipes, toiletries, some sheets and toddler toys. Felt great to be able to help.

Hi- my three boys and I live in Boise, Idaho. My husband passed away almost two years ago. My boys (11, 8, 5) and I have decided that the best thing we can do is donate their daddy’s clothes. He has beautiful suits, dress shirts, shirts, jeans etc. My husband would have given the shirt off his back to anyone. Please advise me where we can send his clothes. Thank you.
It is a time to act.
I found your website last week and it moved me to tears…and action. I teach at a small rural school and put out the word that I’d like to organize a drive to help the Katrina victims. The response has been overwhelming, for such a small community.
I have 8 bags for the kids. They all have either a puppet or a doll and toys and one has a note pad with a pencil. Lots of fun stuff in there. I am 7 years old and I made the puppets and dolls. My name is Grace Campbell and I live in Los Angeles. Where can I send these toys to the children that need them?
And, finally, in one way or another, many of us have “been there” and want to do what we can to give back.
My house burnt down when I was a jr. in high school and people helped us, so I want to help someone else.
Last year, I delivered my youngest son prematurely in the middle of Hurricane Frances here in South Florida. I want to help.
